BRAZIL LIFTING

Inspection Drops objects

  • Drops Inspection is an onshore and offshore sector-wide initiative focused on preventing dropped objects, with the ultimate goal of providing a natural incident and/or accident prevention strategy across our industry. It’s not just about equipment damage and lost production. It’s about life!

In addition to the inspection of Auxiliary Structures, the scope also includes the removal of all loose items, such as scrap, loose corrosion scale and/or attached to structures, fallen parts, forgotten parts and tools in the areas, among others. items. We work following good practices for mitigating the risk of falls in auxiliary structures, such as which options can be taken into consideration at the time of inspection, how installations should be carried out and all recommended safety requirements. Furthermore, we recommend and advise on preserving the structures, where applicable, with corrosion inhibitors during the inspection.

Lifting has teams of IRATA Inspectors of auxiliary structures, experienced and qualified with training in Drops Inspection, corrosion, preservation, industrial assemblies, NR13 and Lifting Gear, made up of rope access supervisors and Mechanical Technicians with active CFT.
