The Thermographic Survey consists in a non-destructive test, being possible to verify the heat distribution in the equipment from infrared radiation. It is possible to get a thermogram, in other words, a graphic of temperature, and perform a repair in the right place. Among the advantages offered by the Thermographic Survey, it is interesting to highlight the decrease of failures and downtime, higher lifecycle of the equipment, and a consequent increase of productivity. Lifting has certification DNV/ISO 9001 for jobs related to Thermographic Survey and employees properly able to meet the customer's demands with quality and speed.
This inspection fits into predictive maintenance, since the equipment is monitored periodically in order to find vulnerabilities to future problems, avoiding unexpected stops and productivity loss.
The thermal images became one of the most valuable diagnostic tools for predictive maintenance. Due to the high importance of this tool, we suggest a new survey every 12 months.
